Lokman Hekim University Ankara Hospital
Lokman Hekim University Ankara Hospital started to provide health services as of 23.03.2008 as an 8-storey hospital building on a 17.500 m² closed area in the Sincan district of Ankara, the capital city of Turkey.
Our hospital, which started to serve as a University Hospital as “Lokman Hekim University Health Application and Research Center” as of January 1, 2020, has 6 fully-equipped operating rooms and a helipad to accept patients coming by Air Ambulance. Our hospital has a 51-bed General Intensive Care Unit, a 6-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, a 4-bed Coronary Intensive Care Unit and 21 Incubator Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with a total of 82 beds and 134 patient beds, with a total bed capacity of 216.
Our hospital supports the Baby-Friendly Hospital Project carried out by the Ministry of Health and UNICEF, and this scope has been awarded the Baby-Friendly Hospital certificate.
